noname713
buy iron (for no more than 100 each) and coal (for no more than 200 each), then turn them into steel bars (which can be sold for 600 each) this fetches both smithing xp and a decent amount of cash for f2p in my opinion though, prayer is the hardest thing to train :P Fear the frog reaper. Hypercubes make the frog reaper happy ^_^ Or else I shall feast upon your soul!!!

Haz29
I was p2p for a bit but i did all my smithing in f2p and managed to acheive level 80... I minned 31.2k coal 10k iron, 2.5k mith, 300addy... And thats how i got alot of smithing evperience. But that was is extremely slow so the best way i would say is just smith bars for people... Mine 1000 iron 2000 coal turn them into 1000 steel bars... Find some1 that will trade 1k iron 2k coal and 50-100k for the bars and just keep doing that
