Beat Elvarg with what weapon?

Featured Replies

So my question is what weapon (f2p) would be best to kill Elvarg from the dragon slayer quest would be. Im thinking rune scimmy or rune long. But on Sal's walkthrough it says slash attack is not very good against Elvarg. Plz help.

Just use a rune scim. By far the best F2P weapon.

rune scim, anti fire shield, strength potion, protect from melee if you have it. I beat elvarg at lvl 50 with no armor and only tuna for food. not hard.

Proud owner of a Quest cape!

Slash attack, is definatly better than a crush attack, and should be no better than a stab attack, so I'd so rune scimmy/long.

I used a rune skimmie (+ anti dragon shield "of course") with full addy armour, without prayer and lobbies for food. No potions. I defeated him at combat lvl 40. Although I only had 1 hit point left when he died. Had to tele out after, couldn't pass the skels outside. =]

NEVER use rune long, scimmy is much faster and gives

almost as much strength bonus when equipped.

(I never used a rune long, sell it or alch

it if you have one)

Rune scim as default. If you find you can't hit often enough, bring baxe next time.
