Hey - basically this is my story.

 

 

 

I stopped playing Runescape for quite a long while, i couldn't tell you the period of time just a while. When i was away from Runescape my main [operation fl] got hacked (keylogged or whatever). I recently tried to log into him but password has been changed - as well as this, so have the recovery questions. I did the "someone else has changed my password" option in the password recovery thing in Runescape and everytime i give them my details they say i haven't given enough information, despite me giving them transaction ID and agreement ID from Worldpay and of course explaining in the box at the bottom that this person has changed my recoveries.

 

 

 

What i also find strange however is that none of the stats have risen from when i last left operation fl (took a stat picture).

 

 

 

Basically i need help on getting my main back!!! Thanks

 

 

 

[edit] - i have sent 3 requests for the password all with the same (+slightly more/different) information each time.

Have you taken any screenshots of levels you achieved? They would be worth including with your next message. Also tell them people that were on your friends list last time you checked; mention quests you have did; when you got your membership; when your account was created; when you stopped playing; and your IP.

Deleted my friends because they weren't really friends and just wanted to add and delete trading people, so noone on friends list.

 

Can't remember quests other than all free completed, membership creation should be covered in worldpay details, can't remember when my account was created or when i stopped, my IP is a proxy i think?

Give Jagex your old recovery questions. If you know more than 3 previous passwords, make sure to tell them all of them.

Can't remember old recoveries - given 3 passwords to no avail.

Hmmm, try sending screenies of accomplishments. Other than that, they should have unbanned it when they got your worldpay stuff, because who else would have that information besides you?

sad...i got hacked once...only about 150k but it was so much to me at the time...

That's exactly what i'm thinking - surely the WorldPay details prove that i'm the real owner. Never screenied accomplished on this computer, i'll try and find some though. Thanks for the advice.

Any things like the way you did underground pass? E.G. The bit to the portculis.

I know this may sound corny, but see about getting law enforcement involved. Judging from what I've just read, on top of what happened to you being against Jagex's rules, many countries would consider it illegal.

 

 

 

Law enforcement won't care about what you lost in game, but if you effectively lost money in that the hacker got some membership time on you then that's one count theft right there. Also, by hacking your account (if it was members at the time) the hacker(s) provided themself with access to what is essentually restricted servers without said access being legally authorized by Jagex.

 

 

 

That being the case, since they have better toys than Jagex they can get to the bottom of it quicker and more effectively. ;)
