July 25, 200619 yr Well, I know how it works. You wear it and its effect takes place when you do them slayer tasks. I should get me one. But I have some other questions related to the thing directly and indirectly. How much is a Black Mask worth? Do I have to do those quests to get to the island to kill them? What quests do I have to do again? What level are the monsters and do I need any special equipment to kill them? How long does a mask last? What is the effect again?
July 25, 200619 yr 700k and i think its +15 strength and attack when on slayer assingment the (10) thing you get at start is pretty useless really but it reduces defence randomly up to 10 times.

Ahh. Ok. Thanks. I figured out that ya I need to do some quests to get there and kill Cave Horrors and that I need that witchwood thing-a-ma-jig. What happens when 10 becomes 0?

Nothing other than you don't get the random reduction of an opponents defense anymore. The slayer attack and strength bonus is still the same though.
July 26, 200619 yr the charges on the mask are meaningless compared to the boost it gives to att and str during slayer missions. As mentioned, at 0, the mask still retains it's salve-like stats for slayer assigned monsters so all good. Cheers! -BB
