July 26, 200619 yr not if you ask their country state MAY be accepable/province but i dunno city nuh uh :shame:
July 26, 200619 yr Why not do just that? Asking for someones time zone is not against the rules (i think), because it reveals close to nothing about your location. As time zones are referred to in Wikipedia as UTC (click here for ref) you know nothing about my whereabouts when I say I'm in UTC +1. I could be in Sweden, the Vatican, Congo or Namibia for all you would know (too bad my country is visable in my profile...giveaway! :) ) There are so many possibilities in one time zone, that the other player could be close to anywhere. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
July 26, 200619 yr Just ask for their time zone or current time. You don't have to ask for their location to get their time zone. I have a friend in California and I guessed that because she is 3 hours behind me. I'm in Eastern time zone.
