However, I'm poor and can't afford all the recommended items, and want advice on what exactly to take. Here's my planned equipment Equipped Veracs helm Unholy Symbol Kharil's top Veracs kilt Barrows gloves Snakeskin boots Ring of recoil Legends Cape Crystal bow Inventory Second crystal bow 3 ranging potions (4) 19 super restores (4) 5 saradomin brews (4) And when I try, my relevent stats will be: 60 prayer 80 defence 75 ranged 81/82 hitpoints Any suggestions for better luck with stats or equipment? All I can think of for now. Like I said, I'm poor. Can't afford fury or archer ring. how much money do you have to spare? Only about 1M now, but I'm going to do barrows until I have about 5-6M to spare. Figure 2M for bows and kharil's top, 2.6M for veracs helm, and 400k for pots. If I really need more I could get more, but that depends on how much a fury/ranger boots/archer ring would help. Well, you haven't been here long enough to say that then. :shame: Muggiwhplar is very famous for completing fight caves, many times, with various equipment - without guthans! It's very possible to do with the equipment he has. You should be fine, i've looked over his guide too - you got pretty much everything right. m4tty Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 i used them equips to reach jad twice with 70 def 72 (75 second time) range, 75 hp i think i was, 52 pray... black vambs, obby cape, archer ring ranger boots tho, and karils bow. u have a decent chance of winning aslong as u dont mess up.
