Fruit trees 14.6 hours?

Featured Replies

I planted an apple tree at 1.40 am, and then paid the farmer 9 raw sweetcorns to look after it. The tree has never gotten diseased (after all the farmer looks after it)

Now it's 16.46pm, but the tree still hasn't grown, it only has options "inspect" and "guide".

1h40 + 14 hours and 36 minutes is 16:16, so the apple tree is already 30 minutes late, according to the tip.it guide at least.

Is the guide incorrect? Or does the clock tick thing have something to do with it? In that case, I'd prefer to see the worse case instead of best case times in the guide :)

Runescape: Lodev (Combat level been fixed at 101 for years now, Total level 1500+, playing since march 2002)

Arenascape: Lode (Level 240+ Warlock)

I think the guide is very approximate. It could probally vary from 14-15 hours.

Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!

farming isn't an exact thing, the trees and plants take a vague amount of time to grow. this is to stop le autoers, and also to refeclt real famring

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

It's not always exact, don't worry, it'll mature.

Does anyone happen to know death_siren? She stole a green mask from me, and I think I found my way into her ignore list. If you know anything, please, don't hesitate to give me a pm.

For trees, I find the best way is to plant them as you are about to log out for the night and pay the farmer. They are always ready for me to check the health on and gain the exp when I log in the next day.

Shame this is not possible for the special trees - Calquat and Spirit. For these you just need to keep everything crossed and hope! Cant see me hanging around for 20 hours waiting for my Calquat tree to grow.

Thanks to 4be2jue for the sigs.

I had this same thing happen to my apple tree, it ended up being like 24 hours instead of the 14.6 tip.it said

It's 4 hours over time already now :s

I guess it'll also end up taking 24 hours

PLEASE change the tip.it guide! What's the point of saying an approximate number of one decimal behind the point (14.6), if it can take up to 10 hours longer? That could be said better in the guide imho :)

Actually you can now have a farmer watch spirit trees according to the Knowledge base. And an ammy of nature is great for calquats, haven't had any die yet.

If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.
