You can farm herbs. And while your herbs are growing kill Chaos Druids. Come back after an hour and ten mins to your farm patch for your herbs. Rinse and repeat.

Keep all your unids. Never leave an herb behind, bank them all.

After you have a large amount of herbs gather a buncha vials and secondary ingredients.

Rinse and repeat.

It took me roughly 6 months to get to 45 (if I recall correctly. Now that I think about it I really don't remember. Might have been less.) But I wasn't dong herblore all the time. If you work hard at it you should level fast.

A tip -> Shilo Village Quest gives free 10k xp to any skill of your choice if that skill is 30+

Another Tip -> Eadgar's Ruse gives 11k herb xp. Invaluable.

Another Tip -> Tail of Two Cats give an xp lamp too. Haven't done that quest so I don't know how much it's worth.

We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

My answer:

Play. Train on a few monsters here, go back to fishing, continue training magic, etc. Just play exactly the way you play now, except doing a few herblore activities.

Nothing kills this game as much as forcing yourself to continuosly train one skill you don't enjoy.

Don't go for "fast". Go for "fun". It keeps this game a lot more interesting... don't get too obsessive.
