Cw-games are more fair now?

Ah well, winning wasn't the main reason I'd do it, I'd mainly log for a friend to be in the same team just for the heck of having fun together.

 

 

 

Exactly. I don't see anything positive coming from this update; Imagine being the one guy left behind while your friends get to have all the fun of laying waste to noobs without you. I'd love to see who started complaining about this in the first place.

 

 

 

The problem with this is that people have become accustomed to bug-abusing this. Jagex did not intend for it to work this way. Now that they fixed it people are mad that they can't abuse the bug.

 

 

 

This is what aggravates me even more. Castle Wars has been out for how long, and it only just now gets fixed? Unacceptable :shame:

 

 

 

Lol, I totally agree. This is annoying but not nearly as bad as the auto-skull bug in the wildy that took years to fix. With all of the old bugs that people are used to getting fixed (verac hitting through prayer, auto-skull bug, this, etc.) it looks like Jagex is actually making a large effort to "fix" their game... even if the fixes make it less fun.

Don't get me wrong when I say bug-abuse. I would bet that sending a message to cs about abusing this bug wouldn't even warrant a warning, lol. It is probably the one of the only bugs that Jagex would laugh at for reporting. I am actually quite shocked that they fixed it.

 

 

 

I agree that it is lame to have a friend trapped on the outside. The problem is that a huge clan could log into a world, all join sara, and do basically nothing to beat zammy round after round. It would be nice to be able to bribe the cw guy there into being automatically loaded into the same team that you were in. Drain a small amount of gp from the game and make the cw tickets go directly into your bank like they should. Both problems solved to some extent.

 

 

 

Although a clan being on one side seems unfair, it is the point of the game - to team up with people in order to outwin the other. If people can manage to bring an entire clan to CW, then gratz to them, they deserve their win then.

That is hardly the point of the game. If they intended for clans to bug-abuse their way into one team then they wouldn't have a number restriction; they would simply allow everybody to join one team for an easy win. How much fun would it be to play capture the flag with 100 people on one team and 20 on the other? How fair would that be?

 

 

 

In fact this bug abuse makes full addy cw armor less of an accomplishment in my eyes now. I never really gave it that much thought before but if you have a clan that cheats their way onto one team then there is no skill required to get it; only time. I mean how hard would it be to repeatedly win when you have double or even triple the number of the opposing team? In fact, I would bet that players on that world who aren't in a clan would hop after losing repeatedly and therefore making their team even more of a push-over.

 

 

 

Now that jagex has prevented this bug abuse, cw armor will have to be EARNED instead of waited for.

 

 

 

I totally agree with the clan comments though. You should get to play together without bug abuse.
