In the duelling area I hold ancient staff and use fire wave, tell me, is that cheating?

 

 

 

That's the same as holding a Mud Staff to cast Ice Barrage, therefore I do not think it is. And who says Ancient Staff wielders must be on Ancient. For all intents and purposes I am usually OFF ancients when I hold my Ancient staff. I am only on ancients when I am in CW and even then I use a whip instead of Ancient Staff.

Why should it be cheating? Sometimes I cast bind while pking in full rune.. So?

 

If you want to wield ancient staff, just wield it...

u cant really cheat in runescape, misleading people is perfectly alright.

Got me baffled, is fire wave BETTER than the ancients spells at similar level?

 

 

 

Would have thought ancients would be considered more dangerous.

and precisely used to deceive people because most ancient mages wield ancient staff. it gets them really confused if they see a fire wave coming their way (sure, it doesnt do as much damage as the corresponding ancient spell, but good for a bit of laugh)
