It's Ubuntu, but it uses Xfce for the Desktop environment. I would not suggest Kubuntu on your system, since KDE takes up much more resources than Gnome, but if you really want it all you have to do is: sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

username388 Posted August 23, 2006 Share Posted August 23, 2006 That is correct, but I would reccomend using sudo aptitude install xubuntu-desktop for this. It's much easier to remove packages like that with aptitude than with apt. Just to sudo aptitude remove xubuntu-desktop to get rid of it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
