Items worth merchanting and profitable?

i got a question i feel like doing some merchanting..this will be my first time merchanting though. So will any1 gimme ideas on items to merchant.

 

My first was to mine pure ess sell it for 100 gp each for a while then buy ess then sell cheaper..lol which is merchanting :lol:. But im still not sure -.- if it will work so please people post your ideas :pray:

well it matter how much money you currently have....unless you have about 20m...which i doubt

 

 

 

i would suggest merchanting coal....

 

 

 

go to smaller worlds and buy coal in small amounts for 150 each

 

 

 

then after you have bought all you can go to world one and sell it for more....170 to 180 each....worked for me....good luck \

if your f2p, its going to take a while. if your p2p, its goign to be a lot easier.

 

make your first mil or so and then start merchanting glories, flax, bowstrings, coal, steel bars, and yews etc. my p2p friend merchants glories. he buys uncharged 60k and sells charged 80k, not bad if you buy in bulk. if your f2p, then start merchanting trimmed armor. after you have like 10m or so, invest in rares, and sell them after they go up. if p2p, merchant barrows.

Well when i merchant i dont do a certain item, i just walk around world 2 in the Falador gardens and find things that people are selling for cheap, sell it for more later or try the forums \

so pure ess is out of the question? :-k , I was gonna buy 1 k pure ess for 75 gp each then sell 100 gp each?

Buy ANYTHING good that you can buy cheap and sell higher later

As a general rule, try to buy low, not sell high.

 

I can't stress this enough, don't go buying coal 200 each and try to sell 230 each, it'll be MUCH easier buying 150 and selling 200 each.
