This my brand new idea to improve the market of runescape.

 

 

 

Tired of just typing out " Buying Sharks! Buying Sharks!" over and over again? This idea may change everything! Instead of standing around in banks, create an "Advertisement Board" on the wall of each bank. On this board, you have the Item, Price (with the optional each) , Number, and Name. There, the ad will go to a large screen with all adds (Probably either organized by catagory or alphabetical order). Clicking on the name will bring up the trade screen with that person. You may only sell or buy items that are in your inventory. The chat with your player will show up as private chat (for busy markets such as world 2 fally) or as normal chat.

(It's incomplete, I'm still trying to get my hands on some font and buttons. Also, even though those are NOT the stats for the screen name, I was never participating in multi log in (I'm sure there will be suspicion of that at some point)).

 

 

 

 

 

So what if there IS a bunch of people? What order does the index go in? Well, the last person to post would go first. However, once a minute, you can bump your post. So what if the index is going all over the place and you cant click the post you want? FREEZE! You simply freeze the index and click the persons name you want to trade with! This way, you can also browse the index for good deals if your just looking to buy or sell something in general. And why have to still hunt something down by banks? If you connect all the market boards, you may make it quicker to buy or sell something!

 

 

 

You can search for items being sold or bought with a search bar; and get this... to enhance searches, you can also add the price from a drop down menu or typing selection (a.k.a. merchants dream).

 

 

 

This idea may improve chat screen traffic in banks (especialy busy markets) and make it easy and quick to buy or sell something.

 

 

 

Of course, it would still be logical to keep the same trade options as it is now as to keep trade in places not around banks.

there's a little something called the forums right now, and it is the exact thing you are suggesting. So...yea wats the difference..kinda missing it :?

Forums are not as interactive and immediate. His suggestion will help relieve such places as Fally world 2.

or you just go to one of them market stallls there and add your item your wishing to sell and the price you want for it... a player checks the stock like your rune plate for 60k and pays for it.. you go and check later and wallah your 60k is there for you?

How about a general store with infinite space in it, and you choose the amount that you sell an item to the store for. But you don't recieve the money until somebody goes in and buys it, where it is left with the storekeeper. All you have to do is talk to the storekeeper, ask him about it, and he gives you the money.

Thats exactly what i was meaning but with a seperate strore devoted to this.

The store thing is a little cumbersom. You arn't close to the bank and it isn't as quick.

 

 

 

Yes, its like the forums, but people still trade in-game anyways... why not make it easier on them?

it'd be impossible, or very difficult. Just so u don't know where anyone is, and you'd have to tele there and still that's another forum aspect. I'm talking bout official and these and others btw.
