  1. Hmm...didn't know about the digsite remake...Good to hear! The Elven quest line can be called "Plague City", as this is the first quest in the series.
  2. 30 is NOT needed. Look: If you have 28 slots open: You can arrange 4*7 27 slots (say an ectophial or money): 3*9 26 slots (tokkul and chaos runes): 2*13 25 slots (fally tele): 5*5 24 slots (ice barrage with ancient staff): 3*8, 2*12, 4*6... So you see, the inventory space is pretty logical. [EDIT]: 36 is logical too: 36 35 34 33 32 But this is WAY too overpowered. Imagine RCing 32+3+6+9+12=62 laws or nats on lvl 75!
  3. Definitely Elven Story - nice graphics, interesting plot, a good chance of continuing - remember the Elven Crystal City, Pfddinas, was it? I'd love to look at city where all crystals in RS came from! Even walls are crystral! Awesome... P.S. If they ever make a makeover to this storyline, I'll walk through whole Passage just to enjoy the views! And I can almost bet my guts they will change graphics at one time. Jagex is just busy with f2p areas and quests. O_o I wonder if they ever remake even Ardougne! They have so much work!
  4. It seems like there was a bug in the shop code. It increased all prices by 1 decimal. They'll probably soon fix it. Remember, the update is less than day old! Ah, it would be so cool if price would be 10x higher to SELL! Sadly, it's th other way...
  5. Forums are not as interactive and immediate. His suggestion will help relieve such places as Fally world 2.
  6. I suggest reduce stats to about 1,5 mage attack and defence of mystic, and double defence of splitbark.
  7. There are 2 things against this in F2P: 1. Players don't have so many items, to have it hard to organise. 2. It would eat memory. The only problem would be the ex-members.
  8. I got my whip in a quite simple way. First, I gathered 1.25M. I did this using various sources: sara helm, my d hally, some more items. Then I cut 5000 oak logs (yes, you heard me right! 5000!) It didn't take longer than a few days, as chopping oaks with 70 wc. Additioanlly, it brought me 2 wc lvls up! Then, I used about a week to make 5000 oak planks. And sold them on forums 500 each. The whip was in my grasp with 2.5m! So this can be a reliable way to earn money. The only problem is you have to have half of the money you want to get in the end.
  9. Nice idea. Would also come in handy when you have to drink energy pots.
  10. Yes, the bank page suggestion is certainly organised and convincing. I believe he/she uses a private server, and some Java coding, so this bank may indeed be working already!
  11. Not sure that'll work. The macroers will just level their attack, and will continue macroing. I really can't find any way to stop macroers except for reporting them.
  12. A new dungeon-like space, like the Draynor Portal, but much more heavenly. White clouds, narrow catwalks on high mountains, and a distant view of the RuneScape continent! An additional thing: it could be placed on the Trollweiss mountain, as it goes nice into the theme! [EDIT]: A little thing: where do you all guys get those neat little RS stat show-offs?
  13. I don't think it would be very popular. Except the rare slayer assignments, troll generals and a pair of quests, this is really not a thing you should waste your runes on.
  14. I don't know, this may already be mentioned and suggested many times. But i'll give it a try. For the first, sometimes chat is very inconvenient to use. Imagine world 2 east falador bank. So many people chat, that one has to actually turn the public chat to "hide", "friends" or "off", to accept deals. But at the same time, you can't see what the person you trade with says. So my suggestion is: when the trading screen appears, a new separate chat will be held. It may be in the top of the trading window, or in the main chat, but different coloured. The point is, under trade you will be able to turn chat to "trade" (f.ex. orange colour), and talk only to the trader. That way it will be easier to handle trading on crowded worlds and places. The friends suggestion is very similar to the previous one. sometimes, I log in and find many people on my list logged on who I don't remember who they are. They are often some people i just had a trade with before. So my suggestion is to be able to sort friends in a few (2-3) different groups with player-customised names. Example: "trade", "friends", "relatives" (didn't think up anything else). This way it wil be easier to organise friends. Also, the Friends menu should be sortable - by names and world/offline.
  15. The Chemistry skill will not neccesarily be too "modern" for RuneScape. Such things as soap, explosives(duh! everyone thinks about explosives when chemistry is mentioned!), and many other aspects of life (which i can't think of now, even though chemistry is my favorite subject at school). So it may be a good idea!
  16. *sigh* If it could be done that easy... getting positive replys here doesn't at all mean that Jagex will implement them, or that Jagex staff even visits Tip.It forum! So my next little idea would be: Create a thread (Which should be heavily moderated, to avoid spam, flame, and bad suggestions), and put all successful ideas there. Of course, each idea should have an author and contributors written beside. Then we must have all possible tip.it members, and even one-time lurkers, post these suggestions to Jagex. That way there will be much better chance that at least one-two of these suggestions will be implemented.
  17. I'm an average RuneScape player, and as many, I like training skills. Though one problem bugs me: the XP indication is unclear and sometimes difficult to decipher. To find out one's progression towards next level, one must do the following: 1. Either register the exact XP when the previous level was achieved, or seek out on fan sites. 2. Check the XP needed for next level. 3. Substract the number in 1, from the number in 2, to find out the amount XP needed to advance from the current level to the next one. 4. Substract your current XP from the xp that was needed to reach previous level. 5. Divide the number in 4 with the number in 5, to find out current progress towards next level. And all that must be done manually! I, therefore, suggest a simple addition to the XP bar. Simple or not, I'm not totally sure, as I'm not into the programming. However, in worlds it's pretty basic. The following forumla must be implemented: (Current XP - XP previous level)/(XP next lvl - XP previous lvl)*100%. That's it! The result of this pretty basic calculation should be shown in the mini pop-up, next to the "Next level at:" text, in parenthesis. Example: My woodcutting level is 72, and XP is 949,587. Next level is at 992,895. The previous level was at 899,257 (Thanks, Tip.It!). So my current progress towards next level is: (949,587-899,257)/(992,895-899,257)*100%=53,75%~53%. It's that easy!
