fletching help

Featured Replies

ok, my fletching is 55, and i need it to be 70.

Now ive used the calculators, and roughly, i need either 5k maples strung longs, or 7k willow strung longs.

I need to know which of them two will be

a.) more time effective, dont wanna be clicking for absolutely ages

b.) which is more cost effective, including price of logs and bow strings?

Don't even bother stringing them. Just make unstrung willow longbows and sell them to the store.

Willow logs cost 30-50 each while bowstrings cost 150-200 each. You are better off just buying double the amount of logs so you can just fletch x all the way to 70 and not have to strain your wrists adding all those bowstrings. Stringing them will make it cost 4x as much anyways due to the high bowstring prices.

Yea, stringing is just a waist of time let alone money just buy twice the amount of willows and sit back and watch your exp rise. :D

Well assuming your buyin at 30ea (it is possible to get cheeper in f2p)

it would cost you around 420k. Which will be easy to make back when you start fletching yew longs :D happy fletching!

Its a good idea to cut some of your own willows too, that way you dont lose as much money.

You also get 16gp per bow for selling to general store, so you get half your money back

Oops forgot to mention that lol

yea you can sell the bows back to any general store for 16gp each which means you will make half your money back only costin you an overall 210k which is a very good invenstment.

I will also tell you an easy way to sell to a shop

1. go to settings and put mouse buttons on 1

2. move the noted item you are selling into the bottem row of you inventory

3. put the mouse to the top most of the item you are selling - now when you click the cursor should allready be on the "Sell 10"

4. just carry on clicking :D

might get a pick in a min

u mean the noted bows will sell for 16 each?

Sure will

You should most likely only string yew bows - magic bows because of how much time it takes and there's no "X" option. Just do double the amoutn of logs instead of using bow strings. It's your best bet.
