Giordano
I'm sure all of you heard of merchanting, and how it made certain players into riches. The root of merchanting is: Buy low, sell high. Don't get too carried away with this, buying a rune plate for 40k won't get you a lot of sellers, if any. Also important: It is easier to sell by the 1000s. Every item has a "average" price, as I call it. Examples are iron 100 ea, full rune 200k, airs 20 ea, pure ess 100 ea. You should buy a little, but somewhat good profitable price below the average price. Then you sell it at average or little higher than average if you have in bulk. Ok now with the guide: Iron Suggested Starting Money:80k Buying price: 80 ea Selling price: 100 World: Any free world with 1500+ player Location: Falador East bank, Varrock Southwest Mine Iron is a good starter for merchanting. Loads of free players mine this stuff. People will tell you iron is worth 100 ea (and a noob :wall: ) Just ignore and keep trying to buy. Once got 1k iron, sell for 100 each on the offical forums or Tip.It's Marketplace. You can sell it in Fally east bank on a 1900+ server. Bowstrings (P2P only) Suggested Starting Money: 300k Buying price: 150 ea Selling price: 170 World: Any member world with 1700+ player Location:Seer's Spinning wheel house. Bowstrings is very fast if you got a lot of starting money. Go to the house and say "Buying all bs! 150 ea". There might be other merchanters there, but most of the time they want for 140 ea. Sell on offical forums, you should get a buyer pretty quick. Steel Bars Suggested Starting Money: 550k Buying price: 500-550 ea, depending how much people are selling. Selling price: 600 ea World: Any free world with 1500+ Location: Falador east bank. Steel bars are a good choice, you get 100-50k profit. Just shout out "Buying steel bars" and let the seller choose the price. If its higher than 550, reject it. After you got 1k steel bars you got 3 options (if you're a member): Sell the bars, make it into c-balls which sell for 190-200 ea, or trade 4k c-balls for your 1k steel to a smither. If you choose the c-ball option, you can sell it for 760k-800k! Depending if you sold it 190-200 ea. Other Ways to Make Quick Money AND Get Exp -(30 Smithing required)Buy 2k coal (400k) and 1k iron (100k) for 500k. Make them into steel bars and sell for 600k or into c-balls and sell for 760-800k. -(70 Fletching required)Buy 1k yew logs (250k) and 1k BS (170K) for 420k. Sell them for 550k or high alch them and get 738k. Thats my quick guide to make easy money. Hope you like it. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
Sephiroth_
Hmm those are the basics of merchanting everybody knows about and every single merchanting guide has it. But don't get me wrong though, because these methods are good for fast 100k-500k, but not for long (but this wasn't supposed to be a guide for long term merchanting now was it?) So I say you wrote a decent merchanting guide Sig by WeeBoab

Guest
Very Basic and nothing new. But still it will help a few people out, so it was worth the effort.
