It depends what class you are.

 

 

 

Melee: Full Rune and Rune {Battle-Axe, Long Sword or Scimitar - Battle-Axe reccomended}

 

 

 

Range: Full Green Dragonhide and Maple Longbow

 

 

 

Mage: Wizard Robes and {Element} Staff

For all - Any cape and no ring.

 

 

 

For melee/range - Green dhide vambs and power ammy

 

 

 

For mage/range - Leather boots

 

 

 

For melee ONLY - rune full helm, plate, legs/skirt, stronghold of security boots, rune SCIMITAR, and possibly strength ammy instead of power. Dhide chest and chaps are a good idea for melee vs mage.

 

 

 

For range ONLY - Green dhide chest, vambs, coif, maple SHORT bow, addy arrows, and possibly a defense ammy instead of power.

 

 

 

For mage ONLY - Blue wizard hat, robetop, monk robebottom, elemental staff, and possibly mage ammy instead of power.

 

 

 

 

 

I think that covers it.

For range: Full green d hide with a willow bow

 

For Melee: Full rune with a rune scimmy or rune 2h

 

For mage: Wizard robes

Melee Best Layout:

 

Full Rune Armor, Rune Weapon (Best options are Scimitar, 2-hander, Battleaxe, and Long Sword), Power Ammy (or Strength Ammy if you just need a hit power boost), Stronghold Of Security Boots (either one), Cape, and Green D'hide Vambraces...

 

 

 

Ranger Best Layout:

 

Full Green D'hide (Body, Chaps, and Vambraces), Coif, Maple Shortbow, Adamant arrows, Normal Leather Boots, and a Power Ammy (or Defense Ammy if you just need shielding)...

 

Note: Don't use the Stronghold boots with this, as they hurt Range!!!

 

 

 

Mage Best Layout:

 

Blue Wizard Hat, Blue Wizard Robe Shirt, Monk Skirt Bottom, Power Ammy (or Magic Ammy if you simply need a mage power boost), Anti-Dragon Shield (does not penalize mage attacks), Staff Of Air (or alternate element staff, depending on what runes you're carrying...), Normal Leather Boots, and Colored Gloves or Normal Leather Gloves...

 

Note: Don't use the Stronghold boots with this, as they hurt Mage!!!

melee: full sara+stronghold boots(fighter)+rune scimmy+diamong ring+power ammy

 

 

 

range: full green dhide(g)+def ammy+maple shortbow+stronghold boots(fighter)

 

 

 

mage: full blue wiz (g)+mage ammy+stronghold boots

I have never seen a point to risking more cash than necessary...

 

 

 

Also, the stronghold boots have the same stats... and are not great for mages or rangers.

By the way, about Rune Weapons (adding to my own post):

 

 

 

Scimitar: Use this if you need a quick defeat with medium blows.

 

Battle-Axe: Use this if you are willing to sacrifice some speed: I find this weapon mostly only hits my maximum hit.
