what is a good way to train magic up to 60+

Featured Replies

currently 53 with 2k chaos and 1k death and has 5 mil to spend on more, need help bad want to mage arena.. :D

Either use those combat runes while training up slayer until level 55 magic, then do high-alching in Magic Training Arena [Much faster xp than just normal alching, but you will lose money.], or just start low-alching at MTA untill 55, then switch to High-Alching. Or of course you could enchant things there.. It's your choice. Basically, if you want fast xp, go there, if you want cheap xp, get to 55, then high-alch yew longs.

Cool.

Well my strategy is that I have 56 mage and I am also looking forward to Mage Arena. But I'm the type that likes to be self sufficent so I'm currently mining 3k pure ess, then crafting them into Cosmic runes, which should give me 37 to 44 runecrafting \' then I plan on using mage training, enchanting of course, which I calculated will give me 62 magic high enough for mage arena and wind wave \'

Lots of ways to get to 60 magic with 1k deaths and 2k chaoses and 5 mils \' :

For instance, you can cast ~1k wind bolts and be 55 magic, trade the rest of the runes for 1.5k nats and high alch till 59 buy some more nats and you will get to +60 magic.

Or, you can wind blast and wind bolt with all your runes to get to 57 magic, then high alch from there till +60.
