blade995
The power supply might have died. I don't know how much you know about computer but the only way (that I know of) is to try the computer with a different power supply. You would need to take out the power supply from a working computer and test it in the broken computer. If it still doesn't power on, you may have a larger problem at hand. PhaperPlane
How long have you had this PC for? If you had it for a long time, it might have had it's day. But it could have had a serious error and decided to pack it in.
Hitman247m
Does anything happen when you press the power button (ie: lights, beeps, etc) or is completely docile? If nothing happens when you press the power button, there is no power getting into your compuet, so either your power supply is fried, something is unplugged, or one of the wires near the power supply is dead :wall:

Just because he helped you before doesn't mean other people arn't just as helpful :) . If you don't know what your doing, take it to a computer shop and have them check it out. PhaperPlane
If you don't know what your doing, take it to a computer shop and have them check it out. That's a very good idea. I think you should do that first so you know for sure what's causing the problem instead of taking it up on your own incase your a bit confused. Or, try a PC magazine, like PC Gamer, that's got some good stuff. After you know the problem, ask for a reccomened replacement.
tunaboy692004
When you hit the power button do you hear the generic "CLICK"? If not it may be possible that the power supply may not be hooked into the case right, which may result in the power button not being able to connect to the real power button on the LCD panel thing :P Current Goals80/80 Fletching60/75 Woodcutting97/100 Combat
username388
You could get a digital multimeter and check the volatage on the PSU. You do have to short it so it'll work when it's not plugged into the mobo. Just google something like "test power supply" or something.
blast5226ball
How long you didn't on that pc? If too long, your power supply most properly "fried" I agree with blade995. A pc can't stay "off" for long time, if pc's is on everyday it would be better. Ah ya, before you stay off that pc, did you on before? If you on before and off for a long time, i believe 70% is your power supply problem. Your pc is 'sleeping' for too long lol. http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1020
