Leveling herblore

yeah well i am level 73 herblore atm and i want to get it to 82....could any1 give me some advice on how to raie wih out spending alot of money? (i am willing to spend up to 2m)

the only thing you should buy is vials. or seaweed and buckets if you wanna lvl crafting to by making glass and vials.

 

 

 

Go into the security stronghold and kill flesh crawlers in the room where there are 2 of them and 3 giant rats keep the herbs the fires, dusts, and nats and then just keep making trips till you have as many herbs as you need. then add all the herbs into the vials and gather the ingredients. i do recommend dropping anything under harralander because there low exp.

 

 

 

for chocolate dust go to the gnome stronghold and buy the 2 food shops out of all there bars and dust and keep doing this till you have enough for all your harralanders if you choose to keep them.

 

 

 

Snape grass from the hobgoblin area by crafting guild.

 

 

 

Eye of newt from tavelry herb shop.

 

 

 

everything else is pretty ez to come by

pick up some snape grass, or buy from players 500 each

 

buy ranarrs from players 6.5k each

 

Make prayer potions. Resell every potion you made for 7K.

 

Repeat

I recomend killing men in the barn in edgeville. Die in one hit and drop lots of herbs. I redommend NOT using a RoW if you have one.

I'm 60 herb and I've bought ALL my vials from the ardy general store.

 

It can be done and is a good idea 8-)

I've never gone after that many at a time so i dunno. I only need 100-200 at a time, so I can get those easily in about an hour world hopping :D

I'm the same, and I am 86 herblore. The only thing I buy from other players are wine of zamorak.

 

 

 

What to spend your money on: Miscellania workers!!! Make sure you have both miscellania quests done, then make a large investment there, putting as much as possible in herbs, and the rest in whatever suit your needs best. This is a VERY good source of herbs. I will try and find you a good link.

As you see, with a max investment, you pay 827 gp per herb, and that is without getting guam or marrentill. When you buy from other players, you often pay 1k each, and get lots of guam and marrentill.

 

 

 

Snapegrass: Your house is your friend in this, so move your house to relekka. Snape grass spawn in mass amounts on waterbirth island, just were the boat land. So tele to house, run to boat, pick grass, tele to edge or castle wars, bank, repeat. Very fast.

 

 

 

White berries: very quick to get if you have done the quest Mournings End part 1. Kill some elves get a bunch of elf chrystals, and have Eluned recharge them. Run from Lletya to white berry spawn, fill inventory, teleport with cryatal back to Lletya, repeat.

 

 

 

Mort myre mushrooms: again your house is your friend, if you have a Kharyll (=canifis) teleport portral, and an altar to recharge your prayers. House tele tablets save some space, but are not necessary. Quest fairytale part II and use of the fairy rings is another option.

 

 

 

Try to exchange potions for herbs: have a reasonably large stock of 3-dose potions, and exchange for herbs. This give you the experience and for that you provide the vial and the second ingredient. Do this for the potions where the seconds are easy to get.

 

 

 

Farming: also a VERY good source of herbs. Remember to always use super compost. I plant my seeds, then I do something else and let them manage on their own. Most of the time they survive. I got my seeds both from thieving master farmer, and as monster drops mainly when I did slayer assignments.

 

 

 

Regarding vials: well, I always buy whenever I pass through ardounge doing other stuff. I buy a few at the time, however much the shop on the world I am on happens to have, and I dont bother to world hop. On the other hand, I pass through ardounge often, for example when I'm farming and when I'm on treasure tails so it adds up.

okay thanks gugge :wink:....ill try out the miscallana thing since iv heard it is a good way to get herbs and when i tryed it for flax and mapples i got alot of them :thumbsup:
