Hi, I'm F2P and need 5k iron, right now I'm mining in Southwest Varrock Mine, but it's taking forever because I 1 hit everytime (63 mining). So it takes a while to spawn back, so does anybody have another idea at this? I'm thinking just merchanting it (buy it 80ea, sell 90ea, I already have a buyer) but does anybody have any ideas, so that I oculd get the iron faster? I'd prefer not Al Kharid because it's a mile to the bank and Dwarven Mines is about as slow as Varrock is.

maybe get someone who needs to have someone run, and just run for them. running in al kharid is slow, but i have seen people run in SE Varrok mines.

id say mine in the dwarven mines at night and use fally east bank

You could try mining on more crowded worlds, since you seem to be annoyed by the current spawn rate :?

When merchanting your iron, I'm fairly sure you can easily sell your iron for 100 ea, which would maximize your profit. As for banking, I always used the varrock west mine, But I doubt it is faster then what you're doing.

Why not use the varrock SE mine? :-k

When I was f2p I always used the southeast varrock mine. At your mining lvl you can take the 3 top rock for yourself and mine them as they spawn in a row, its really efficient and really pisses off the other kids who want iron :twisted: That about the best iron mining spot I think there is f2p? tell me if im wrong

Make sure you mine on a world with 1500+ people on it. The ores respawn faster on a world with more people.
