Hey, I am 71 Range atm and thought getting a fire cape would be easier with higher range so I have decided to get 80-85. What do you think the best way to train range would be? Tell me what equipment I should use and where to train. A rough estimation of how much exp per hour i would get is greatly appreciated. Thankz!

 

 

 

So far Im thinking about going to pest control and using iron knives and using the points i get on ranged. I will be wearing d hide top, chaps, vambs, ranger boots, fury ammy, and a robin hat or my phat. :D

Greater Demons in the Gu'Tanoth Dungeon is good xp and a chance for some decent items. Watchtower quest completed is required though.

Use barrows gloves they give more range than black vambs and alot of def.

 

 

 

They also help if your using guthans.

I dont have barrow gloves atm, should i try an get them? what glove is equalvalent to blk vambs? and thx for all the suggestions

Get the dark gloves (the only ones comprable to the black vambs for ranging), wear your ROBIN if you PC, or bring bones to peaches and loads of c balls to dags under the lighthouse. Make sure to pot while at dags. I would say that those two choices are the fastest and probably fairly similiar in xp as well.

Cbow if you can afford it, MSB with mith arrows if you can't. Either way, you'll definitly make your money back from drops. I trained there from 60-80 range and an irl friend of mine trained until 97 range there (98 now, getting 99 through slayer)

 

 

 

This way you get range, hp and prayer xp (unless you decide not to pick up the big bones) versus if you PC it all you get range xp, and significantly less HP xp (since most of your range is gained through points).

my friend just recently got 99 ranged and he said he got 30k xp an hour (i think) using mith arrows and cannon balls at dagannoths

lol toast, i just figured that most ppl only look at the first page. btw gl wit ur goal to ur phat i read bought that a while bak forgot to wish u luck. and stephen u make a very interesting point. i dont noe if i need hp exp atm, i could do witout it, but since i will be doing fight caves i mite need it, do u think 1 or 2 hp lvls would make a big difference?

Go with stephens idea (I am his irl friend), it is like 27k exp per hour and you make tons of money. I did Fire giants from 72-97 range and have made well over 25 mill off them.

First Charge: 900k

 

Second Charge: 750k

 

Third Charge: 540k

 

Fourth Charge: 360k

 

Fifth and After: 180k

 

 

 

Cbow is well worth it if you have the money

2 Dmeds, thousands of rune arrows and hundreds of rune drops and half keys. Also i made a bit of money off noobs dying there and i get their rune and obby shields and stuff :P
