tried using gradient maps etc, which is new to me and my sigs. Rates/c.c?

I've never tried doing that, but from the looks i think it's great. Nice job! =D>

When you used the gradient map, what did you do with it? I usually set the gradient map layer to soft light but it looks almost like you just let it be... Text stands out too much IMO.

i done purple to yellow, set the opacity to 80, and done a few colour balances at 70% opacity

Usually, gradient maps are set to soft light or something like that. They tend to make small, yet effective adjustments...

hold on ill set it to soft light....

and the CB was 50% and GM was 60%

 

 

 

and on some tuts ive seen on chaos where they use GM, it changes the colour drastically =\

the second ersion is much better.
