This spell supposedly gives you the power to combine runes into combination runes without needing a talisman. But when I cast the spell I could not figure out any way to combine the runes.

 

 

 

I tried it in a bank first with water and earth runes to make mud runes. Use water with earth rune... 'nothing interesting happens'

 

 

 

Then I tried it with pure essence in my inventory. Use essence with water rune... 'nothing interesting happens'. Use essence with earth rune... 'nothing interesting happens'

 

 

 

Ok I'll try it at the earth altar then. Use water rune with altar...'nothing interesting happens'. Use essence with altar... plain earth runes!?!?

 

 

 

What is up with this spell? I simply can't get it to work. Did anyone try it and found how it works. Please explain to me how this spell works.

 

 

 

P.S. I cast magic imbue before every attempt and used the items with each other before getting the message "your power to combine runes has disappeared"

i think it makes you not fail when making combo runes....

 

i dont have lunar mage, so im not sure.

You need to have pure essence in your inventory as well, 1 pure ess for each rune you were planning to make.

 

 

 

While the spell does mean you don't need the talisman, you still have the chance of failing (unless you use a Necklace of Binding [Enchanted Emerald Necklace]) and you still need pure essence to combine the runes.

I've already read that article and it's of no help at all, it only gives a definition of the spell, no description of how to use it.

 

 

 

I've send my question to Customer support, now let's hope I get an answer by someone that actually played this game before :roll:

You bring hte runes you want to combine, go to one of the alters and then use the spell instead of having to use the tally on the alter to combine them.

 

 

 

So, if you want mud runes you bring Earth and Water runes, go to either the Earth or Water alter and cast the spell to combine them. It is not 100% chance of combination unless you have a necklace of binding or whatever it's called. It's an emerald necklace enchanted is all I know.

Bingo. I was pretty mad when I found out that the only thing it does is act as a tally. Everything else is the same as normal combo crafting. :x

its pretty good.. at least now u wont have to go searching for talismans.
