Best way to get 99 woodcutting?

Featured Replies

Hey,

I would like to know the best tree to train until 99 wc and the best place to cut.

Willows at draynor.

Period.

once you get to higher levels, trees like maple and yew start cutting very fast, so move to maple perhaps once you get ~85

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

Willows start to become impossibly fast at higher levels. Yews start to become very quick as well, although willows still give much more exp. Me personally, I would do yews, because the money difference is just too much. :)

Does anyone happen to know death_siren? She stole a green mask from me, and I think I found my way into her ignore list. If you know anything, please, don't hesitate to give me a pm.

Im 100k from 97 wc, all i can say is ... willows all the way, maple and yew are still a pain to cut..

cut normal logs till 30. then cut 6.5k oaks till 62. then do willows till 99.

Normals until 20, oaks until 35, willows until 99.

OR:

Normals until 15, oaks until 30, willows until 65, yews until 99.

The second is my favourite, although it is slower. The second gives you more firemaking XP.

Willows ftw! 8-) Much faster xp than Maples, Mages, and Yews.

Willows are indeed the fastest, but if you want to make money, go for yews.

I personally can't stand cutting one type of tree for long periods of time so I switch around between willows and yews.
