Doomster Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 Black top is as good as blue (it's only the blue hat which is better). The dark wizards drop more easily, but watch out for the level 20. The "useful" kit is a staff (magic or air, water, earth, fire), ammy of magic (or power, if you want a compromise toward defence), hat (blue), top (either), anti-dragonfire shield (wooden is 2nd choice). Normal boots (not stronghold) and gloves. If using prayer, monk bottom, otherwise leather chaps, or a skirt to complete the wizard look. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
superway25 Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 The best f2p mage equipment is cape: any color cape ammy: magic ammy staff: fire or air (depends on which runes you'll get) boots: leather boots hat: blue wizard hat (not black) body: blue wizard body (no black) legs: monk robe bottom gloves: leather gloves (any color) shield: rune square shield You can replace the rune square with a anti-dragon fire shield if you don't want to lose it or protect item.
