What kind of players are in Level 1 Wild?

Featured Replies

Correct me if I am wrong, there are mainly 4 entrance area into Lv.1 Wild:

Black Knights Castle;

Monastary;

Edgeville;

Varrock NE.

While Varrock NE leads to a multi-combat area, the other three are single-combat.

Question: Among the 3 single-combat Lv.1 Wild, what kind of players are gathering there? Which one is the most popular?

I am back.

Um, well the only place I go usually is Edgeville wildy. I'm assuming it's most popular.

Usually in F2P, I see level 30s to level 80s most commonly. An assortment of pkers, pure rangers, meelers, mages, and some rune pures. Also, usually in the more populated worlds (3,4,5) there will be level 3 looters.

Since I have 0 PVP experience, if I am going to use a Combat Level 20+ Mage Pure to start my PVP adventure, where would you suggest?

Well, to be honest I don't pk much anymore. I know that information mainly from watching my friend pk there a lot. From what I saw, you could pk there with your mage pure.

yes. but as the higher level you get ,its usually more melee people fighting one on one. if you go real deep, you can find mages hanging aroudn the lessers and groups of full runers that are all lvl 100+

Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

Problem with level 1 wildy, is a lot of opportunists (I've been one) - impure mage takes a firebolt shot at guy in full sara, sara guy retreats and ranger friend targets the mage, mage retreats.

By the same token, inattention is as dangerous in level 1 as in level 50.

On my mage pure i pk at edgeville, be careful though as most pople i see are the same type of pure if not better than mine and it comes down to a game of luck when fighting.

e.g. your firebolt hits 12, they hit 6, you hit 8, they hit 10 etc. Range and melee pures arent very effective against mages at lvl 25 combat as mages hit 12 and rangers and meleers can hit about 7. Also your spells will hit through ranger armour easily unless they have good mage aswell.
