September 5, 200619 yr Can somebody please clearly explain to me how lag tricks are performed... I've seen people in varrock square running around a couple of times before stopping, and suddenly, they appear 3-4 squares away. No animation whatsoever, no teleport bubble. They simply appear. In addition, can someone tell me of other tricks that can be done like this? I don't have any holiday items, however...(easter rings).
September 5, 200619 yr The person clicks a couple of spaces away, then decides to perform some action, such as alching something or cutting a gem. Animations for certain actions cause your character to stop temporarily, even though your character still reaches its target in the same amount of time it normally would. So to make up for the stop, your character rushes toward the spot you selected. Fear the frog reaper. Hypercubes make the frog reaper happy ^_^ Or else I shall feast upon your soul!!! :twisted:
September 5, 200619 yr exactly like he said try it yourself, click somewhere on the minimap and then cut a gem, your character wills top to cut it and then to make up for the time cutting the gem will go at superspede faster than run to get there [omg] who cares if its nerfed or fixed.... you people will argue over the color of a green apple if it was a topic on this fourm god.
September 8, 200619 yr Author I'm not talking about super speed, I'm talking about "teleporting". Disappearing from one spot, and reappearing in another.
September 8, 200619 yr K click on setting tab - go to house options - building mode "on" - then really quickly click somewhere on ur map (close to you) and your character will not do any animation or move it will be like he just teleports to that location. September 8, 200619 yr One way to do it is in draynor near the wall, click on the other side of the wall and start alching or doing something. then you really teleport there. and if you have someone following you he walks funny, kinda like michael jackson on his vids. :D Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
