September 6, 200619 yr Anyone here take JROTC or ROTC at school? If so what branch, and whats your rank and any ribbons or decorations you have? oh and also bragg about any of the teams you are on. Im Navy!...I want to go into army though(US Army not rotc) Im Cadet Petty Officer First Class _____ I have a few ribbons(in order from low to hi): , Sea cruise,Mini Bootcamp, Drill team, Exemplemary Personal Apperance, Academic Award, Exemplary Concduct, NS1 Outstanding Cadet, and Aptitude. Im the drill team, and color gaurd & on the academic team, and oreenteering team. I dont have ribbons for thos ebcause were just starting those up and I havent earned them yet. I hope to get Chief Petty Officer by the end of this year, and get Ensign my seinor year. Anyone eles? Its better to be judged by twelve, than to be carried by six.

This one is called coke cadence (its a tradition cadenec at my school) PC: Coke cadence coke cadence coke cadence. C! CDTS: In a bottle PC: O! CDTS:In a caaaaaann PC: K CDTS: wish I had one PC: E in my hand All together: coke coke and ice cold coke (makes the sound of opening a can) tchk aaaahhhhh. ANd this one I made up This folows the basic rephrase, the PC says one thing the cadets repeat tha line. so every sentence theres a repeat Sniper, sniper in a tree I see sniper but sniper dont see me put a bullet right between his eyes todays a day another sniper dies (this is followed by a Oorah! or Huah, depending on your branch, idk what the air force is i tihnk its like Hip Hip Hooray! or somethin lol. Don't hurt me! :shock: I took Army JROTC for three years back in my high school (started sophomore year because I took PE the first year). I haven't joined up in ROTC when I got to college, though I know a few people that have. Medals: The Retired Officers Association (||||||||||||||||| Hopefully this is visible for those who are not familiar with this medal) Individual Drill Down Ribbons: JROTC Citizenship Award Perfect Attendence Best Company Best Platoon Physical Fitness Academic Achievement Spring Competition Fall Competition Good Conduct Brigade Service Parade Ribbon Graduated as a Cadet Second Lieutenant, but there's been speculation there's been a mistake and that I should've been Cadet First Lieutenant according to the records. :? September 18, 200619 yr Author The only think I hate about NJROTC Unifroms is theres no BDU's. We have Khaki work unis, which are terrible. Although We do have the best Dress Unifroms Its better to be judged by twelve, than to be carried by six.

Although We do have the best Dress UnifromsHeh, I was working the Logistics/Supply department and it was a pain to sort between the BDUs because some were for summer, while the majority of our BDUs were for cooler weather. Difference: Just material. September 19, 200619 yr Lame. Just...lame.. I am not for sure but it sounds like a rip off of a cadence that has many forms that I have heard/used... "Marine cadence, delayed cadences, Marines Count..." The Marines would say "Off" then proceed to say..."1" Whomever is sing the running cadence..Would say something and the Marines would count numbers.. "Back in vietnam.." "2" "We killed the viet cong.." "3" "They wanted war.." "4" "So we gave them more.." After they repeat the numbers while the Marine to their left says Louder or something "motovating.." ... September 19, 200619 yr There are some cadences the SAI and the AI didn't find appropriate (the originals I mean) so naturally some changes had to be done... Example, one I made up back when I was a company guidon (only female guidon out of the battalion :() based on the one blank posted... Count Cadence, Delay Cadence Count Cadence, Delay Cadence (OOONE!) Look around you! TWO Guess who's coming? THREE Look in front! FOUR Bravo Company! ONE See it! TWO Learn it! THREE Drill it! FOUR Be it! ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR Ohhhhhh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer Weiner Cuz that is what I really like to be!!! And if I were an Oscar Meyer Weiner Then everyone will be in love with me!!! That last part seriously works with the cadence depending on your speed...
