September 8, 200619 yr Powermine iron anywhere you can find some free iron rocks. Al-kharid is a good place.
September 8, 200619 yr Icecube is right, though I don't think it's worth getting 60 mining just to mine coal in the guild (which is what I assume you're planning) IMO, iron is better than coal, period. Once you can mine iron in one hit (which you should be able to do once you reach lvl 55), you can expect to mine a full load and bank it in 5 minutes. Coal, on the other hand, takes me 10 minutes at best and 20 minutes at worst to mine and bank one load. And I'm level 84 mining (dwarven stouts FTW  ) So basically, under the best conditions, I can mine 2 iron ore in the time it takes to mine 1 coal. Since iron is 35 exp per ore, that's 70 exp in the time it takes to gain 50 exp with coal. Plus, you can expect to sell iron for at least 100 each, while coal goes for up to 200 each. That's a 200 gp minimum with iron in the same amount of time for a 200 gp maximum with coal. Fear the frog reaper. Hypercubes make the frog reaper happy ^_^ Or else I shall feast upon your soul!!!
September 8, 200619 yr Author thank you very much noname for the good advice, it is greatly appreciated.
September 8, 200619 yr dwarven stouts are horrible if u are mining in wildy u cant hold enough food and by the time your def, att, str get to lvl 1 you get pwned "Boredom got me playing, Boredom stops me from playing. It's a vicious cycle."
September 8, 200619 yr if your only doing it for exp/merchanting, coal is lousy but when it comes to smithing, mining guild rocks, especially when you need mass amounts of coal(ex rune and addy bars). also, dwarven stouts are useless IMO, it barely gives a boost that i notice, why waste cash/inventory space lol Killed Hobgoblin Champion: 1/28/07 The economy is run by 13 year olds.
