Justin742
I recommend to have these levels (or higher) in order to use my strategy. Hitpoints: 70 Defence: 70 Prayer: 49 Magic: 50 I recommend you to have a similar equipment setup when you enter Castlewars. Head: N/A Cape: N/A Body: Prayer robe Legs: Prayer robe Hands: Prayer gloves (white gloves as one example) Feet: Boots of Lightness OR Prayer boots (white boots as one example) Necklace: Amulet of Glory Left Hand: None Right Hand: None Note: Have a weapon in your inventory, not equipped. When the game starts, pick up these items. 17 Bandages. 4 Baracades. 4 Explosive Potions. 2 Ropes. This leaves one space for your weapon. This is what I do after I pick up the items. 1: Run to the wall with the big doors. 2: Use a rope on the battlements close to the catapult. 3: Run to the standard, use one bandage, and pick up the standard. 4: Run out of the castle the exit with the small door. 5: Hop across rocks. 6: Run to your base and score. If I am chased I do the following. 1: Use bandages to restore health/energy. 2: If he/she is hitting high then on my way to rocks I drop a baracade. This should stop them for a couple seconds. Always Active: 1: I use explosive potions on any baracades in my way, if I am out then I set fire to the baracade. 2: If I am attacked by wizards I use Protect From Magic and when I am super low on health with no bandages I put Redemption on. I also use Steel Skin and or Protect From Melee if a high level melee is chasing me. So far I have had no trouble with this strategy, sometimes its difficult to do but it has always worked well for me. I hope this helps somebody out, I kept it simple and understandable, and I'm glad to right my first guide here. Feel free to ask me any questions about this guide you might have. Pandaman115
Good..but you could get quickly owned...i still much rather prefer my method. A lot more effective. [Admin Edit: No naming names in a negative light]
mrmyk
personally i would never use that....prayer robes would get owned as remember you CANT use 2 protection prayers and normally you will be facing mage, range and melee personally if i had prayer i would use koddo1's method wear karils and use mage/melee protection prayer karils is good against mage and melee/range + the extra prayer helps Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements
chessmastuh
A good idea, but I wouldn't sacrifice the melee defence for some extra prayer points... I usually score in Karils, using protect from mage/melee as needed. Also, I use the tunnels, and sacrifice ropes for explode pots... usually gets me to the flag faster, and relatively unharmed. henk333
If you ran of like that with my teams flag I'd yell dead man walking. If my dds spec doesn't tear you a new one my bow will drop you before you reach the rocks. If I was ancienting you wouldn't get 5 squares from the door. The only real answer to ancients is black dhide or karils, 2 barricades, 4exp pots and a lot of bands. Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)
nalestom
Pitiful... Sacrifice armor for prayer robes? With prayer robes on, you have less defence agianst attacks. You would die quicker. Even with the protect trio of prayers on. Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?Final Fantasy
Justin742
Ok, so nobody likes it. Thats why the title is My strategy. It works for me so I thought somebody might want to try it, heh guess not. I know some of you say "oh you would get wasted in seconds," well if this were true, I wouldn't have said this works well for me and I have only not captured the standard once or twice. I hope you guys can forgive my first guide here being lame.
