lilray88 Posted September 10, 2006 Share Posted September 10, 2006 As most of yall know that theres a National Gaming Tournament going on in the world(I think thas what its called)...was watching some on tv. And most of the games are basically strategy and team-work. Anyways wouldnt it be neat if there was a Runescape clan war tournament, or staking duels or anything and you could actually see them fighting on tv? And maybe the hosts would talk to Jagex about having their own server or something and it would be locked to everyone but the people that was involved so noone could interfere them...? Or maybe its kinda dumb but hey...its something to talk and think about... 6 years of playing since February 27th 2002still a classic'er Wars aren't won by dying for your country, it is won by making the other sons of b*tches die for theirs.period. To me Runescape is anonymous and if a clan gets together at a convention and realises that some members are like 8 and 56 it would be,weird. Devilsdragon Posted September 10, 2006 Share Posted September 10, 2006 There's 3 main genres of tournament games and not all of the games that fall into these are competetive Real time strategy(starcraft/age of empires) Shooter(counterstrike/halo) Fighter(street fighter/tekken) I only listed 2 of each but there are more(well, at least more fighters, I don't know about rts or shooters >_>) there's also music game competitions at a smaller level(DDR) runescape and most other internet games are based on who spends the most time playing, not the one with the most skill Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
