~Silk Road Online~

Featured Replies

ive recently been checking into a game called silk road online, for those of you who have played it, is it worth it to download the game client, is it fun? or does it even compare to runescape? any opinions would be greatly appreciated! :D thanks!

Runescape owns all. Its perfect compared to any other game. Besides, wow and gw :anxious:

Silkroad is alright, I guess, for a free game.

I didn't realy play it long enough I think (got to like 21/22, than the quests just get absurd).

It's koreans MMO at their "finest" note: a lot of grind.

The whole trader/theif deal was interesting, but unless you play on a newer server you can't do that until around level 30 (to do it well).

I dont think this game is really worthy of anything. It's laggy (note I played this in my dorm in college) and the cities are so crowded you can't even see the NPCs. :x

I personally don't think it was that much fun (unlike you like leveling games?). I say, don't waste your time.

GameGuard is awesome, what's wrong with you?

When I downloaded and installed Silkroad I just got an error when I tried to connect. Then the client just closed.

Oh thats their way of telling you that the world is full. They close down the game. Quite frustrating. So much so that everytime i think i might give it a try again, the worlds are so crowded that i remove it from my computer.

The game is alright, but unless you have Korean blood, you won't hack the grind.

Haha, that's so true and not true at the same time. I have some korean friends, and they're not entirely "in" the grinding scene of online games though they level fast, but almost ALL of the good MMORPG players come from (South) Korea. They simply don't get bored for whatever reason.

Nothing wrong with GameGuard or Nprotect in my opinion, if I remember correctly Lineage II uses nprotect too.

Dunno about the game, I can't judge it by hearsay (few of my friends told me it's laggy like no other), but if you're a casual player... It has good 3D graphic scenery, active admins, many players, and it's 100% free... Perks of the internet age? I'd give it a shot if I had time, many MMORPG's today don't cost anything to play. :)
