September 11, 200619 yr Until yesterday, I had a crafting level of 5. Then I bought 1k clay and spent hours making soft clay. And here I am at level 37............ It's 3 extra levels before the crafting guild and I'm completly out of materials and I need to get to level 40 crafting. I have 200 cowhides in my bank but I have never did leather work so I don't know what leather to make for what leather work. Can anyone help me get my crafting level up to 40 ? I need to know what to make that will get me there in a short period of time. Please note that I am F2P and with a limited budget. Thanks! September 11, 200619 yr For leather you need: Money (to tan the hides) 1 Needle 1 Reel of thread per 5 leather. Go to al kharid bank, withdraw cash, needle, threads and fill your inv with hides. Now put your needle in the last space in your inv. Walk to the tanner (north of the furnace), right click on HARD leather, and select tan all. September 11, 200619 yr Cowhides would be your best bet. Just take 27 hides along with some cash to the tanner in al-kharid. Tan your hides into hard leather which will give you the best experience. Run back to the bank and repeat. You should reach 40 in no time. You can either buy the cowhides, or you guessed it! Kill cows for their hides.
