By full set does it mean pl8 helm and legs? Or do i need a kite and sword too?

generally full blk means including kite.

 

in f2p can only be gotten from drop off ice giants

To answer your question it is the full helm, legs, and plate. The full helm will have to be bought from a player or a drop from a monster, the rest should be buyable from the appropriate stores unless I'm delusional (hey anything can happen.)

Helm can be bought on champions' guild, plate can be bought in varrock, and legs on al-kharid.

if i remember correctly.. trimmed armour wont work.
