General Store Logs

Featured Replies

As most people probablly know, lots of F2Pers sell their normal, but mainly oak and willow logs to the general store in Varrock. It's usually stocked with a couple thousand of each.

I'm currently buying oak logs for construction, and was wondering if there were any other general stores closer to bank with similar amounts of logs? And do P2P general stores ever have those amounts of logs?

I don't think there are other general stores that are close to a bank that has the usual number of logs in the Varrock General Store so no luck there #-o .

Also, if you were to look in most general stores in P2P you'll find the equivalent amount of unstrung longbows instead of logs.

The only advice I would be able to give you is to buy them from other players and then make up the money you lost. Doing this will definately make Oak gathering faster but time you could technically use to make cash. Hope I helped ::'

Ya the only use for the logs in the shop is firemaking, construction and perhaps even merchanting. I'm not too sure why people sell them to the shop, but maybe it's because they don't know selling prices for the logs.

You can buy willows at lumby or varrock for firemaking for only 12gp each. Not too bad if you don't want to cut your own.

Oak logs are great for construction cause they're plentiful and good experience.

You could also merchant willows/oaks by buying them in the shop, willows are 12gp, oaks are 6gp, then selling for their usual prices.
