Hi, I'm going to train range now with iron knives and I wonder what item I should use at the shield-spot? :)

yea i use zammy book with iron knives

You get +8 range attack with zammy book

I think Zammy Book is the best, besides something cool like a Mage Book or a Pirate Hook.

Rune defender.

A rune defender has a-2 to range attack

 

Not good for range training

Deffinatly a Zammy Book, +8 Range Bonus and it is Replacable if you die, which is always nice...
