I think It could have more detail to it instead of just that plain firey background.

it doesnt quite fit the skating image..and like wyrm said it doesnt really look like a logo

Yup. I agree with them both. More of a splash then anything else.

I'd put the text slightly different:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Move it slight to the lower right

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And also a bit less black around it. The img is to large compared to the text, I think.
