Malhavok
People using d Hallys wear Full Black Dragon armor over Rune? Cause it looks cool? Weight advantage? Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
bacab
It really doesn't matter what they wear. But I guess some people wear Black DHide because they also brought a bow/other ranging thing. I've done that before. I don't remember why. But I have. We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.
Stephen9o3
With hally (usually) you're not allowing yourself to take damage, so it doesn't really matter. Combat FTL
Malhavok
I guess that makes more sense now that I think about it ! Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
Blaze The Movie Fan
Let's say you are in Ardougne Zoo, attacking jogres. I come with dragon halberd and full bronze. I can kill them easily without getting damage. I could kill 100s of them. Because you wouldn't get damaged. You can hit from distance and you can't. So with halberd you can use any crappy armour. You won't get damaged, so it wouldn't matter. I hope you get my point. So this is why some people use black dragonhide armour.
topide
They usually do that so that they can range them if they, for some reason, decide to stop hallying without banking.

I don't remember why. But I have. Tried it out ! Get in your safe spot, range your target and switch to hally to finish em off. You don't have to hit and run back to safe spot. A little faster. More Fun ! \ Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
Mordendravid
I'd suggest you're still better off wearing your best melee armour though, especially if you only use range to get them within hally distance. The better your armour the better you attack bonuses....
Malhavok
But melee armor has no attack bonuses, only negatives to range and mage. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
