I'm planning on going for Elvarg pretty soon, but I wonder if I can defeat him. (Or her.. Not sure..)

 

I have 40 attack, 35 strength and 40 defence and i'm at combat level 47. I use rune scimmy and have rune legs, chainbody and full helm. And antidragon shield of course. I have 24 swordies or so, and use strength ammy. Perhaps strength prayer too. So can i defeat him? :-k

 

 

 

PS. I think i'm going to raise my strength to at least 40...

I think you can kill him, or her. (you should check while youre there :-w )

 

 

 

You have the right equipment. take 1 strength pot too.

I had 40 Attack 38 Str and 40 Def, I used every lob in my invetory, but I killed him.

You can raise your strength to 40, maybe that would speed things up, but you're definitly ready. I've seen people with lower stats and using addy equipment beat him (I think they got lucky :P ). But you have a rune scimmy and rune armor, but is most likely more than enough for you :wink: Also, take a strength potion like suggested above.

 

 

 

If you don't wanna take any risks, you can always take tele-runes :P When fighting, I guess try and stand+fight near the gate, so if you need to make a quick escape, or little break to eat-up, you can go out and do so.

You won't have any problem. Just get in there and do it! A strength potion is a good idea. You've got lots of food, and you may not need most of it, so you're well-prepared. I killed her with addy equipment, tho my combat was a little higher than yours. If you want to range her, there's a good place to stand, behind a half-broken-down wall. I used melee, and had no trouble.

 

If you're *really* worried, though, take some teleport runes or a duelling ring so you can get out of there in a hurry if you want to. I don't think you'll need them, though.

 

 

 

Just remember, Elvarq is only one point higher than the lesser demon you've already killed!

Oh, definately. I did it at combat 46 with full addy and lobs. ;)

you can beat him (I beat him with 13 lobs at lvl 45) just safe a bit and you'll be fine
