Herblore help

I currently have 63, close to 64 herblore. I want to know what the quickest, cheapest way is to raise it up. Do not tell me chaos druids or buy unids...I know both of those already. Also, don't tell me farming. Any other quick suggestions, like what to make etc.

if your going mainly for lvls, try buying ranaars for 5k each, and snape grass is pretty easy to get, and its free, and then you sell the potions for 7k ea in world 2 fally

I'm kinda under the impression that unless you get the herbs yourself, or grow them, it's impossible to make money with herblore, heh. I don't know, make super attacks perhaps? Irits are around 1k ea, I think. Not sure what the pots sell for.

The cheapest way of getting herbs except for farming or killing monsters for them is to assign your pixel workers on Miscellania to collect for you. Have to do quests Royal Trouble and throne of miscellania, details about how it works is here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=manag ... ingdom.htm

miscellania can help indeed. However, herblore is not a cheap lvling skill. Personally I think it has been ruined by merchants and players who cant calculate, selling/buying herbs real expensive and selling/buying pots way to cheap.

 

Be prepared this skill will cost money and focus on the highest lvl potions possible for you. In your case, superstats will give you 43% more exp than the proposed superattacks. (and they are one of the few pots that still sell well)

You could try to kill that Salarin (sp??) the Twisted guy in the yannivile agility dungeon. He drops a key that opens a chest that has 5/6 high herbs (2 or 3 rannars included). He only dies with strike spells.

- buy

 

- get from chaos or whatever monster

 

- farm (super-easy with super-compost (as you don't need to check for disease anymore)

Small comment on herb -farm and profit

 

With Miscelania and farming, heblore becomes really a great cash giver.

 

I only farm snapdragon. I buy seeds 25k and get an average 7snp per seeds.

 

So 25k gives me 7*8k -(8*200 for vials - 8*500 for red eggs) so 50.4k

 

So I double my cash. i use super compost and i never check for disease. I only harvest every 90minutes (u can also use the magical amulet to see if yor patches are fully grown or not (i link the ammy with the latest patch harvest)

 

So in 5minutes i check the 4herb patches and in 5more minuets i do all the pots. so 100k earned in max 10minutes work with xp in 2 of the hardest skills to raise

Id buy ranarrs for 6.5k and then sell p pots for 6.8k-7k.

listen to the upper post on me..but,i say herblore,their not REALLY a way to lv up fast... :wink:
