September 28, 200619 yr Well.. I felt like messing around with a high contrast piece :) . I'm pretty pleased with the result. (hopefully you are too). Comments are very welcome :) .
September 28, 200619 yr Personally i dont like the style, IMO it would look so much beter if it wasnt for all that black over the top it just seems like empty space. But then again this style is popular at the moment so im sure that everyone will disagree with me. Black Flat
September 28, 200619 yr Author didn't realize it was popular lol  . I think you may be right about the pure black... would be better to be "not quite" black probaly.

I have seen quite alot of it lately, not so much on its own, usualy i just seen something like what you have, with a radial gradient to darken the edges, a sprite and then some basic brushing which doesn't impress me. Black Flat ah yeah, i see what you mean. I was kind of playing around with some art theory. I.E Making your eye being atracted to the most red on the bottom right, and drawn into the middle. :)
September 28, 200619 yr Looking past the Black it looks like a great picture, and your right your eye it immediatly drawn to the red which follows along to the centre. Maybe if there was something behind the picture (in the black) so that it looked like a kind of shattered glass effect... Just a suggestion. Black Flat
September 28, 200619 yr Author Hmm... I have a few ideas I can try. The black is mostly caused by the high contrast on some of the main C4D render (causing it to become fully black). I'll see what I can't do :D .
September 28, 200619 yr You just can't accept the fact that your current sig owns and is impossible to top. No really, this one looks quite good. No matter what you do though, in my opinion you will be very hard pressed to top your currnt sig. "We'll bring the sexy back to judging >_>." --Nadril Bleh, once I get off my lazy bum and go to Imageshack, there will be a picture here.
September 28, 200619 yr the text is kinda boring IMO... and it could use a lower opacity... especially with that colour. My photobucket

September 28, 200619 yr wow i love that, looks sooo nice =) the colours, the contract (high contrast ftw), the style beautiful. if you still have the psd, you could go to the stage before the contrast (if you make new layer before each stage) and addd more light when contrasting to get rid of the high levels of black. however the other contrasted bit do look nice. so what you could do is add duplicate layer and set the 'sensitivity fairly low' use magic pen to highlight the black then invert the selection and deleate, from there you can lighten that layr and blend it with the previous layers so the black iosnt quite so black =) PJB21 100% my own work, i make my own brushes: set 1 set 2
September 28, 200619 yr The red looks like a canadian flag..... Yeah and the text is boring. Everybody lovin' it, but ain't no body touchin' it
