smelly_squig Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 hi whats the ideal lvls, weapons and armour to do dragon slayer?(im not member so no members stuff) i got 44 att 49 str 40 def 49 mage rune legs, chain, large helm and battle axe(and anti sheild) im thinking i might put my defence and attack up to 45 before i go do you think i should have it higher for killing dragon? also a friend of mine was telling me about dragon and said some tips is it true if i take of the shield i die and if i have food and i get hit by dragon it all burns or was he making them up i can fish and cook lobbies so i will probly take them with me thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

J35u5_M4 Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 If you take off the shield you will die because the dragon flames hit all your life if you dont have the shield, Yes you have enought lvl to pwn the dragon, I used thiws when i was fighting it: Rune Full Helm, Black pl8, rune legs, rune scimmy, anti dragon breath shield, fighting boots, gloves, a cape and 3 str pots in inventory and 25 lobs, i only ate 8 lol And your food doenst burn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you won't dragon will hit extremely high numbers on you and believe me, there are low chances you will survive. I did the quest with an addy baxe and no armor, so you can do it too. xbiggsx Posted October 5, 2006 Share Posted October 5, 2006 would it be possible to mage the dragon? i maged him at lvl 19 (pure 43 magic) yes you can mage him, yes you can hit him and he can't hit you. once your in his lair theres some crumbled ruins to the south. hide behind them and mage. so it's prolly possible to range him to. and also to get to overconfident and try snare/mage him in the open without a anti-dbreath shield (i learned a harsh lesson that day :wall: it would of worked to if my snare dident miss once.....)
