Oh yeah, wouldn't take very long, depends if you want to cook them or not and if you want to Bank cooked Fish or trade them.

I just did it as if for every load of 27 fish I got, there would be 9 salmon and 18 trout, so to get 100k exp, you'd need around 1750 feathers. The rate isn't like that, but better safe than sorry, and it's not like feathers are expensive. At one point I actually figured out what the rate is for 70-76 fishing, but I forgot, because I at about half of my fish while training combat.
