ceceskye
I'm looking for a way to merchant with 100k... Or, If I sold my whip, 2mil. I'd like this to be easy and cost efficient, not using all my money in case I fail. Merchanting such things as Armor/weaps is pretty much out of the question for me. Prices are ever changing and there's a small market on a lot of those, my friend says. So, try to give me as many options as possible please. By the way, I'm a member. Intriguing
Sell your whip and any other items worth any money when you merchant. You want to have as much mney as possible to work with. Firstly, saying that you "can't" do armour and weapons and such is really limiting yourself. These things are really quite easy to merchant. Unless you're an idiot and don't actually check prices before you buy, you won't have any trouble. The major things to do with merchating IMO are as follows : Always have the official forums open for price checking, as well as pretty much doubling your chances of getting a sale or buying. Compare the prices on the forums [use the search button] with the prices in worlds 2, and that will give you a general idea of what to pay/sell the item for. As well as advertising in the appropriate location in world 2 [it'll take you about a day or less to learn the 'selling location' of all items in world 2], also post on the forums. Another really important thing is to buy low, sell average. If you try to buy average, sell high, you'll find yourself losing money or coming out even. Lastly, and this is just my opinion, don't accept lots of junky items for trades. It's ok if the person includes 1 or 2 good itms in a trade, but if they start adding things like '173 mind runes', close the trade box. Anyway, this may have not been very clear as I didn't really think through what I was syaing, but it should be good enough advice to start you off. Ps. Your friend is right in saying that there's a small market for alot of weapons and armour. It will take you some time to learn what things ot merchant, and what things not to, but I find it to be worth it. Cool.
ceceskye
I know the basics of merchanting... And I never accept any junk items in my trades. The armor thing... I tried that and I kept losing money. I checked prices and all. It just didn't work for me. I'm just real shaky on prices. Hard for me to keep it firm. Hazbaz0
Yews. 1.Buy 2 mill worth of yews from world 1 for 230 each. 2. Sell those 2 mill worth of yews for 250 each in world 2 (cammy bank) Keep repeating. It helps, i went from 2mill to 4 mill in no matter of time. You get about 200K an hour. Zandalf
My favorite merchanting trick is so easy it barely qualifies as merchanting. Stand in the chicken shed south of varrock and world-hop to all the f2p worlds, buying feathers for 3-5 gp each. Keep going until you have 100k+. This can take as little as an hour or up to a whole day. Then go to forums and sell for 10-12gp each. More than double your money. You don't really need much cash to start this, but you'll have trouble selling fewer than 5k on forums for any decent price.
