knives669
When I was a kid, I lived near this road that was on a hill. One time, it stormed really bad and I went outside and the bottom of the hill had flooded. This car came driving by a few seconds later, not seeing the water, and drove into it. It was terrible. My dad helped them out of the car, and they stayed with one of our neighbors untiil the storm was over. Their car was ruined. :( EDIT: I love the rain too, Bubsa. It's so nice... Especially going out and playing in it. Makes me feel like I'm 6 years old again. :P
GoingUnder
I live in north(west-ish) of England so the weather wasn't TOO bad .. but at one point it did start chucking it down .. I got absoulutely soaked just walking from the Language block to the ICT block. That's like .. 10 metre's or something.. The one major thing I hate about rain is that it ruins my hair .. LOL SAME!!! It goes all tangly, then frizzy...and black for some reason...my hair is kinda dark blonde, goes black? huh? And then it all sticks out like static when it dries which is just plain weird... Lol i have short hair .. it just goes stupid and flat and then when it dries :ohnoes: it goes like fuzzy (i should take a pic of that for msn) so i have to wax and hairspray my hair just to get it back to normal again.. i am a paint noob
michiel2
I love things like that, but I don't want it here. Where I live the land is ~5 metres under sea level. :uhh: At least, I think that.
issy2
I hope your school has insurance, that's as bad as sprinklers going off by accident, water does worse damage than fire if you ask me. Why didn't you go home early? Well, most of it dried up now. And it only started getting really, really bad like 5 minutes before we left lol. cadburys_egg
Strange, reallly. I mean, I'm aquaphobic, can't swim or be in water, but I absolutely LOVE heavy rain and being in it. It is, to me, so tranquil and relaxing! :D Yeah, that's the main reason why I hate the water. Never learnt to swim and thus I keep away from it. The only type of rain I like is that misty stuff that gets you soaked, even though it doesn't feel it.
Antrune
I live just outside London and in my school, the rain was so heavy; the sound it was making meant we couldnt hear each other in the classroom. I liked it. And no lol why do you always want to get stuff from John Lewis. Its over ̣̉300 more then than what i paid. John Lewis is a great, great shop.
