Leveling Cooking!

Right, i've heard ALOT about these 99 capes, and how EASY 99 cooking is. So, i've thought of going for 99 cooking. At the moment i'm *Cough* 53 *cough* and quite skint. But can any 1 telle me whats the best to cook at my level? And how much ti will cost? I'm F2P atm. (Have been members)

Of course it will cust you money. My advise is cook EVERYTHING you find from people sellling, from stores, ...

 

 

 

To get to 99 in F2P i belive you will need something betwin 2 to 5 mil depending of the deals you make.

 

 

 

Cooking is very easy to level up because of powercooking that consists buying from other players raw lobsters (or better) and cooking them in Rogues' Den (Burthorpe). Afther that selling them back (usualy for a lower price).

so cooking is kind of a rich person's skill? Cause the msot i've probably ever had is 1 mill lol. So what do you suggest to do for money making, to get enough money for cooking?

Step 1: Get members back ASAP

 

Step 2: Complete 'Family Fued' and get 'Cooking gauntlets'

 

 

 

Now it splits up to 2 Paths

 

 

 

Path 1 -

 

 

 

Step 1: Buy as many lobsters as you can

 

Step 2: Cook them

 

Step 3: Swap them for raw lobsters OR Sell them to buy more raw lobsters

 

 

 

Path 2 (longer and harder) -

 

 

 

Step 1: Fish as many lobs as you can (About 10k)

 

Step 2 and 3: Repeat as above

Well one, i'm not 59 mages to get the 4 blast spells to kill that thing, and i don't intend to get 59 mage. 2, Why don't i just buy so much small fish (Herring) (Max cost wuld prob be 2-6gp, i need like 260k of it lol. Thats not alot of money :D

How about you level up fishing and cooking same time in F2P:

 

 

 

Get lots of feather (from players or from Portsarim fishing shop). And go fish (using LURE option) in lumbridge or barbarians village. Cook them on spot and drop.

 

 

 

That must be the best and cheapest (real money and rs money) way to level up.

 

 

 

But I strongly sujest that you wait from them to come out first because you never know what stats they will give bonus.

 

 

 

There is always the Fire cape it has very good stat bonus and probabily will have higher then this new capes. (Please someone correct me if I am wrong on this point !)

if you had a house you could get the ingredients to make cakes and topings for potatos right from your larder only cost is to get construction up to get max larder

I got a good number of levels with salmon. Buy them for 50-55 each (on forums, not many people sell them in-game), cook, then sell for about the same price. Edgeville is a good place to sell because of all those desparate pkers. =P

why not get 2 capes

 

feathers are only 6-8 each

 

raise you fishing and cooking to 99

 

and the buy raw lobbs, sell cooked ones is a good idea

 

since tip it says you stop burning lobbs in f2p at lvl 72 or something

This is the way to go. The only things that I have to add are -

 

 

 

Do your cooking at the rogue's den, the bank (an npc) is always insanely close to a permanent fire (sometimes he even stands on top of it).

 

 

 

Switch from lobsters to higher fish as soon as your cooking level is high enough so that you don't burn them frequently.
