I will not have 43 prayer for the jungle demon... Would protect from magic suffice? If not what can I do to survive and kill him? I can get protect from magic though..

Ya, protect from magic is all you really need. As long as you stay far enough away, his melee won't kill you.

the second I appeared before the demon I let fire with range. It never moved and I prayed mage. The demon was easy to kill.

Compared to what everone else did on this quest I totally winged it \

I was 82 combat lvl and I didn't know there was a more efficient way :P

 

 

 

You'll be fine with protect from magic thats all you need :

there is a bridge(safe spot) to the far east.. hit him once with melee and run to bridge.. prot mage and range from there.. the others will attack him also..i used 100steel arrows and yew short with no problem once i learned about safe spot

You can kill the demon with one magic bow spec. Attract the demons attention to the gnomes. The gnomes will automatically start attacking him. Then run across the bridge and into the safe spot. Wait about 2-3 minutes and run in and spec him. The gnomes get him as low as 8 hits and keep him that low. If you get lucky one spec will get him. Otherwise keep attacking him eating shark after shark.

So I can not try this without any prayer? I am going to try and range him from that safe spot or what ever..?

i had 50 range i mae prayer owned it. you dont need food dont need p pots use addy arrows you will own it. i think when on tip.it guides it says be careful i think te are talking to lvl 10s
