I read in some guide that I can't find now on these forums that there was some trick where if you needed 2 crystal bows and didn't want to go through the whole 900k - 180k on the second bow, there was a trick that let you pay the cheap price for both bows. Can anyone point me to the topic or explain the trick? thanks!

You can't. The idea was to use 2 bows and to keep 1 at full str 10/10 at all times.

You use 1 bow and when you near the degrade point you switch to 2nd bow so it degrades. Then switch back to 1st bow and keep repeating until 2nd bow becomes a seed.

get the 2 bows ready, use 1 bow so its at 9/10. then switch to ur other bow, use about 240 shots and then switch to ur 9/10 bow. Shoot a bit and it will degrade. Switch to ur 10/10 bow and kill more. repeat

It has nothing to do with the price.

The crystal bow degrades 10 levels, each level being 250 shots. As it degrades, it loses accuracy and power.

The thing is, this number of shots is tied to YOU, not the BOW. The bow only tracks what level it is at.

You're account has a variable that starts at 0. Every time you shoot a crystal bow, it raises by one, until it reaches 250. At 250, it resets to 0 and your bow loses a level.

The trick is simply to shoot about 230-240 times. That'll put your count close to 250. If you use a DIFFERENT bow for the last few shots, the other bow will degrade.

Therefore, instead of continually losing accuracy, you're real bow stays at 10/10, giving it more accuracy and power.
