StrikerRay
if your wc is 30 or higher u can cut willows and firemake them in draynor. If your wc level is lower than 30 tho, wc oaks then and firemake them ;) Buy steel bars or make em, or do bronze bars. Uhmmm for mage, id say buy chaos or minds and airs and just keep fighting something really strong but be beehind something =]. Its good exp id say \:D/ Ray::P2P::::Roaming Around::::Phat me pl0x?::::Beamster:: \:D/
jackattack
for smithing dont buy bars buy ores and make them into steel bars and youll make a nice profit selling the bars. \ My carbon footprint is bigger than yours...and you know what they say about big feet. These are the times that try mens souls...
shoniquoi
for woodcutting: cut and light oak logs until lvl 30 then cut and light willow logs until lvl 60 for smithing: mine 2k coal, 1k iron, make 1k steel bars and sell for 500k or make the 1k bars into 200 steel plates for magic: i just mine ess or buy for 30 each, then make my own runes cast wind bolt, its a bit slow but gives 10 exp each cast and takes little amounts of runes if you have a earth staff
drokles
Hmm... it seems you all suggest steel. How bout iron, its fairly fast to mine, and gives a good amount of exp. per ore. But i like the idea of buying steel ores and selling the bars. EDIT: btw, guess what i need those lvls for \. I'll get there!... eventually
chavster
You're not always guaranteed to smelt the iron on F2P because there's no rings of forging. At least with Steel you will always get the bar. You could try buying the coal (150 each) and mining the iron. This will allow you to level up much quicker - if you've got the cash. Goobore
i need to grow some lvls in following skills: Magic 39 (Hopefully ill reach lvl 66) About 16000 failed Curses will get you, cheaply, to 66. You can make your own Body and Earth runes and then cast with a Water staff. smithing 41 Do the Knights (Blurite) sword quest first. Then you have a few options: -- You can buy coal and iron, make steel bars, and then sell the bars for a slight profit and slight smithing exp. -- or do the above and then smith some steel products. that will earn you 55 smithing exp per smelted/smithed bar. You will lose money though. -- or mine your own coal and iron and make steel bars. If you then sell the bars you can make good money but little exp. If you smith the bars you will get good exp and a little money. Very slow though. -- or mine only iron and then smelt/smith iron products. You will lose about half of your ore since you're F2P but you won't spend any time trying to get the harder coal ore. You could mine the iron rocks at the entrance of the Al Kharid mine, walk to the Al Kharid furnace to smelt the bars, and then bank and repeat. Or, mine at Varrock SE mine, bank, and then smelt in Al Kharid. Later, smith them at the Varrock west anvils. firemaking 35 You can either chop and burn or buy and burn. Popular chopping spots are Lumbridge, Draynor, and Rimmington. IF you have a little money, then Willow logs are usually available in the Lumbridge and Rimmington general stores for about 12 gp each. Hope this helps
breadmaker40
There are already several good suggestions here. For free smithing, I did steel. I started by mining the ores. Then, I sold the bars and reinvested the cash in more ores. I tried to mine all the iron and at least half the coal. That way I made some profit while raising both mining and smithing. Good luck. Currently working on 99 smithing:
drokles
thx for all the advice dudes, im done firemaking ive made some progress with magic and smithing. Magic is now 46 and smithing is 44 and firemaking 44. Ive made some magic progress by using firestaff and doing fire bolt on the lesser in mage tower, (also telekined a few drops, 2 r med helms). Then i found out i could do superheat item, so i started smithing and smelting in the caves under falador. Then i would proced to the anvil with my bars (steel bars, they do give a lot more xp per time) and smithed and alched. its not a very fast way of gaining mage exp, but its pretty good for smithing, and i always use the fire staff to lower the cost. Its all gonna be better when high alch comes around \. I think ill post a few picks come tommorow.... thx for support guys. But come on its really not that hard to guess wich quest im preparing to do :shame:. Skills: 100 Quest points, 66 Magic, 62 Cooking, 62 Fishing, 45 Smithing, 42 Firemaking and 40 Crafting. I'll get there!... eventually
